Huawei yesterday unveiled a new variant of the P40 phone that was customized with BYD to bears the theme of the car maker's new sedan - Han.
Huawei Consumer Business CEO Richard Yu was invited at yesterday's BYD Han launch event where he introduced Huawei's HiCar system on the car and announced this phone variant.
The Huawei P40 Han Custom Edition has a picture of a car in the middle of the back, plus the word "Han" (汉) in the top right corner, with the rest of the information yet to be announced.
The Han will be the first car to be powered by Huawei's 5G technology, with the Han EV 5G version to follow.
The BYD Han also comes with Huawei's HiCar system, which is Huawei's smart connectivity solution for the whole person - car - home scenario.
It has features such as distributed sensorless connection of mobile phone and car, virtualized sharing of mobile phone and car resources, sharing of applications and services in multiple devices, and seamless flow of user experience inside and outside the car.
HUAWEI HiCar is based on Huawei HarmonyOS, making the car and mobile phone seamlessly connected.

No official information about the price or availability of the Huawei P40 Han Custom Edition has been announced yet.
