The 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon is expected to be mass-produced in the fourth quarter this year and the MacBook Air with Apple Silicon will be be mass-produced in the fourth quarter of 2020 or the first quarter next year, according to Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In a report released today, Kuo also expects that new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros are expected to begin mass production by the end of the first quarter of 2021 or the third quarter of 2021.
Kuo also expects shipments of MacBooks to increase to 16-17 million units in 2020 and increase to 18 to 20 million units in 2021.
