China's June express volume expected to exceed 7.6 billion

China's express delivery business is expected to exceed 7.6 billion pieces in June, up about 40 percent year-on-year, the National Post Office said in a report released today.

In June, China's express delivery development index was 364.2, up 75.1 percent year-on-year. Revenue from express business is expected to be about 80 billion yuan, up over 24 percent year-on-year.

In June, express delivery services are expected to support online retail sales of over 1.1 trillion yuan.

New models such as e-commerce promotions and sales in live streaming continue to create peaks in business volume, becoming a new driving force for domestic demand.
