OnePlus CEO Pete Lau revealed some new details about the OnePlus TV while gearing up for the upcoming July 2 launch of the device in India.
One of them is that the OnePlus TV will come with an ultra-thin bezel, just as slim as the OnePlus 8 once was, and also It will come with a rotating speaker.
In an interview with Android Central, Pete Lau said that OnePlus wants to differentiate itself by focusing on two key pillars (design and user experience).
The new OnePlus TV line is positioned at the entry level and has been confirmed to be priced below Rs 20,000 in India (about CNY 1,874).
It will have an ultra-thin design, measuring just 6.9mm thick, which is even thinner than the OnePlus 8.
The TV will also come with slim bezels to provide an immersive viewing experience.
While no size has been announced, rumors suggest that there could be 32-inch and 43-inch versions, with Pete Lau confirming that the screen-to-body ratio will be up to 95%.

Pete Lau said in the interview, "While we are expanding to the premium affordable segment, our emphasis on design remains at the forefront as always. This is evident in our bezel-less design with a 95% screen to body ratio, which is common in high-range TVs but is a stand out feature in the premium affordable segment. This, coupled with an immersive viewing experience on the display with a 93% DCI-P3 color gamut will stand out as a better viewing experience among TVs in the segment."
As for the speakers, the new OnePlus TVs will feature an innovative audio arrangement with speakers capable of rotating 90°, this kind of The configuration will allow for the installation of two large full-range speakers on the new OnePlus TV.
