Apple has added an audio sharing feature on iOS 13 that allows you to connect an iOS device with two pairs of AirPods at the same time.
Recently, a Shenzhen manufacturer has managed to crack this feature, which allows non-AirPods TWS headphones connected to an iPhone to also share audio.
Apple's audio sharing feature allows you to connect two pairs of AirPods or Powerbeats at the same time, and the two pairs of headphones can adjust the volume simultaneously or separately.
iOS 13 can connect two pairs of Bluetooth headphones at the same time, but non-Apple headphone products cannot enable audio sharing.
The company hacking this audio sharing feature is called Shenzhen Me Microelectronics. Their solution also enables accurate power display for the left and right ear.
Their solution consumes only 8.9ยตA of power, allowing full standby time of over 24 months with a 320mA battery capacity.
