The launch window for the last satellite of China's BeiDou-3 global satellite navigation system is set between 10:11 and 10:50 on June 16, CCTV reported on Monday.

The satellite has completed its technical area testing, propellant refueling and pre-launch status setting at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, and will be launched soon, the People's Daily said on Sunday.

The Long March 3B launch vehicle on the launch mission has also completed all tests before refueling, and its functions and performance meet the mission requirements, and will soon carry out conventional and cryogenic propellant refueling.

The last satellite of the BeiDou-3 system to be launched is a geostationary orbit satellite. Prior to that, China's BeiDou system had already provided services to the world.

"A total of 30 BeiDou-3 satellites have been launched, 29 satellites have been launched, and the last satellite is expected to be launched at the end of 2011. The launch will be completed in June." Ran Chengqi, director of the China Satellite Navigation System Management Office, said earlier.

"After the launch of this satellite, at the appropriate time this year, we will announce the completion of the global system to the outside world, providing us with the BeiDou all services." He said.
