Google today launched Android 11 Beta 1, which is now available for Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4, and Pixel 4 XL phones to experience.
The notification bar at the top of Android 11 offers a conversation notification option, and when there is a notification you can open it as a bubble and create a conversation shortcut or set a reminder on the home screen.
On Android 11, Google has added a new sub-menu to enable bubble notifications, located in Settings - App Core Notifications - Notifications - Bubbles.
Android 11's keyboard can auto-populate app-specific content, a feature similar to the browser's auto-populating passwords.
Media controls make it easier to switch to other audio and video content output devices, and in the notification bar Android 11 has added a media control center where you can quickly connect with other devices, such as connecting Pixel Buds.
Android 11 allows users to give one-time use permissions to apps that request access to the microphone, camera, and geolocation, and the app will need to request the relevant permissions again the next time you need access.
