It's clear that Microsoft has done its best to weaken the perception of Cortana by the average user, after all, its features are dispensable.
From the latest push of the Windows 10 May update, Microsoft has users removed or uninstalled Cortana.
The way to remove it is to turn off Cortana under "Run at login" in the Cortana app settings.
To uninstall, open "PowerShell" with administrator privileges, then type "Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 | Remove-AppxPackage" and press the Enter key.
In fact, Microsoft explained last year that it is now primarily thinking about offering Cortana services to enterprise users.
The new Cortana will be all about productivity, for example, it will be deeply integrated into Microsoft's suite of office tools.
In this case, consumer services will only distract this company from product development, and next, Microsoft will leave this market to companies like Amazon, Google, and others.
And indeed it is, the new Cortana experience is all about the Microsoft 365 subscription service.
The service includes access to office tools, email, and online storage, so it's not surprising that this new feature of the e-Assistant will provide users with features like calendars, Microsoft To Do notes, and more.
