Chinese AI and voice recognition giant iFlytek today launched the Smart Recorder A1, which is styled for tape and supports transcription in 10 languages. It is priced at 329 yuan.
The iFlytek Smart Recorder A1 features a vintage tape machine look, which officials say has a metallic texture, and elements like DIY stickers.
The iFlytek Smart Recorder A1 weighs less than 30g and measures only 55*32*15mm, with a PC+ABS case design that allows for metallic spraying and DIY stickers.
In terms of pickup, officials say that the iFlytek A1 with Knowles' dual microphone array does a good job of picking up and reducing noise, whether it's 5 or 10 meters from the interview target.
At the same time, it helps users filter out words that don't make sense and get straight to the point information.
The iFlytek Smart Recorder A1 is also capable of recording 1 hour and 5 minutes. iFlytek A1 has up to 1200 minutes of life time and supports transcription in 10 languages and 12 dialects.
iFlytek says the iFlytek A1 accurately identifies whether the person on stage speaks English, French, or German, or whether the person speaks Northeastern, Sichuan, or Cantonese.
