Xiaomi said today that the Xiaomi Band 5 will be released at an online live event on June 11.
The Xiaomi Band 5 display will be enlarged to 1.2 inches without a hole cutout, and NFC will be added to the international version.
For the first time, the Xiaomi Band 5 will support controlling the phone to take pictures, in addition to adding five new exercise modes: yoga, elliptical, rowing machine, jump rope and indoor cycling, which brings its total number of exercise modes to 11.
The Xiaomi Band 5 will support enhanced heart rate tracking via SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation) measurements. Other health features will include menstrual cycle tracking and more.
Released on June 11, 2019, the Xiaomi Band 4 features an AMOLED color screen, support for over 70 dials and six sports modes.
It also has access to Alipay, and for the first time joins Little Love classmates and lasts about 20 days, price wise, the standard version is 169 yuan and the NFC version is 229 yuan.
