On the evening of May 28, WeChat for Android 7.0.15 was released, allowing the dark mode to not follow the system settings and be able to switch independently. It should be noted, however, that the dark mode requires phone system support.
When you click on a new message notification in WeChat, the page, public number, mini program, etc. that you are currently viewing will be floating and you can return at any time.
This new version allows users to reply to notifications more conveniently in group chats, and also supports favorite applet-specific pages.
