Android OS for regular PCs gets update

Android-x86 8.1-rc5 is now available, becoming the fifth stable version of Android-x86 8.1 (oreo-x86).

Android-x86 is the Android operating system that runs on an x86 PC. Its main purpose is to provide a complete Android system solution for the x86 platform and most Android programs are already supported today.

Android OS for regular PCs gets update

8.1-R5 is primarily a security update to 8.1-R4, with some bug fixes.

Updated to the latest Android 8.1.0 Oreo MR1 version (8.1.0_r76).

Updated to LTS kernel 4.19.122.

Fix the sdcardfs permissions issue.

Serial GPS is enabled.

Add more device specific quirks.

Fixed the read-write mode support in automatic update.
