Jon Prosser, a well-known Apple leaker, shared a lot of Apple Glass information today.
The promotional marketing name for the AR/VR glasses, he said, is Apple Glass, which is priced as low as $499, supports prescription lenses, and is available in a variety of models such as myopic and farsighted lenses.
Apple Glass needs to be paired with an iPhone, similar to the first-generation Apple Watch, and current Apple Glass prototypes are equipped with a LiDAR scanner that supports wireless charging.
Apple originally planned to release Apple Glass as One More Thing at the iPhone launch event, but due to the outbreak, the release of Apple Glass may be delayed until next March. Apple Glass will eventually go on sale in late 2021 or early 2022.
Finally, Jon Prosser predicts that this year's iPhone launch has been pushed back to October.
