There have been rumors about Apple Glasses for a long time, and today Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared a report predicting that Apple will release Apple eyewear as soon as 2022. GIS will be the exclusive or major lens lamination provider.
Previously, DigiTimes and The Information both predicted that Apple would release AR eyewear products in 2022.
Apple Glass will feature a new operating system, rumored to be rOS, with controls such as touchpad, voice and head movements.
Kuo also predicts that Apple is developing two new iPad models, the 10.8-inch iPad and the 8.5-9-inch iPad mini, which will be available later this year or in the first half of next year.
Kuo believes that the two new iPads will follow the iPhone SE product strategy with low prices. The current low price for the iPad is 10.2 inches and the iPad mini is 7.9 inches.
