Apple's eighth-generation iPad will be released this year, and the product will be upgraded to an A12 chip from the A10 chip on the seventh-generation iPad, according to twitter user @L0vetodream.

The iPad lineup currently on sale includes iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad Pro. The seventh-generation iPad released in September last year has the lowest price, with the Chinese version starting at 2499 yuan, compared to the smaller iPad and its predecessor, the machine, although using a larger 10.2-inch display, but its A10 processor is still used.
Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in his latest report that Apple is developing two new screen sizes for the iPad, including a 10.8-inch and another 8.5-9-inch iPad mini, which he expects to be launched in the second half of 2020 and the first half of 2021, respectively.
The two new iPads will be similar to the iPhone SE's product strategy, which means the new models will also be priced more cheaply, and since the seventh-generation iPad is currently 10.2 inches, it's unclear whether Apple plans to introduce a larger iPad or increase the display area by increasing screen share.
The A10 chip used in the seventh-generation iPad is the first to appear in the iPhone 7 series, so it is predicted that the A12 chip used in the iPhone XS will most likely be used in the eighth-generation iPad.
The Twitter account @L0vetodream, which broke the news, also previously said that the 14-inch MacBook Pro will be released in 2021.
It's worth noting that the account had previously accurately predicted some details about the iPhone SE hitting the market in the second week of April and a total of three storage versions, as well as the iPad Pro coming in the third week of March.
