China Mobile launched its 5G Messaging App in some app stores yesterday, but it has disappeared from the Apple App Store today.
China Mobile said that because some of its current terminals do not yet support 5G Messaging capabilities, China Mobile developed the 5G Messaging App, which allows developers to realistically experience messaging interaction services after completing the development of the Chatbot (smart chatbot) app.
As the three operators jointly released the 5G Messaging white paper, triggering high public concern, in order to protect the "5G Messaging" name from malicious seizure, China Mobile recently went live in the application market.
Due to some technical issues, the app is temporarily downlinked and will be re-launched later.
The 5G Messaging App is a communication and service software built by China Mobile based on the international RCS standard, which supports sending rich messages such as text, pictures, audio and video, geographic location, etc. It can also interact with merchants' chatbots for 7*24 hours smart service.
