Honor India tweeted on Saturday that its Honor 9X Pro will be launched in the Indian market on May 12.
The Honor 9X Pro uses a 6.59-inch elevated full screen, supports TUV Low Blue Light eye protection and unlocks with a side fingerprint.
The Honor 9X Pro is powered by a 7nm Kirin 810 processor with a maximum optional 8GB LPDDR4x + 256GB UFS 2.1 memory combination.
It comes with Huawei's own Ark compiler and EROFS super file system.
The device has a built-in 4000mAh battery with a Type C interface that retains the traditional 3.5mm audio interface.
The Honor 9X Pro has a 16MP elevated camera on the front, 48MP main camera + 8MP ultra wide angle lens + 2MP depth of field lens on the rear, Owl Night Shot algorithm and supports ISO up to 102,400.
It also supports AIS Handheld Super Night View 2.0, which automatically recognizes tripod mode and supports exposures of up to 30 seconds.
Unlike the Chinese version of the Honor 9X Pro, the Indian version of the machine comes pre-installed on Huawei's AppGallery store.
Honor says AppGallery is one of the top three app markets in the world, serving 170+ countries and territories worldwide.
