Coolpad announces first 5G industrial routing module with built-in Wi-Fi 6 chip

Chinese technology firm Coolpad today announced its first industrial Internet product, a 5G industrial routing module.

Coolpad says the 5G industrial routing module is based on 5G technology with built-in Wi-Fi6 chips and scalable hardware and software integration.

It supports a variety of interface types to meet a variety of industrial scenario application terminal needs, plug-and-play, can significantly reduce the cost of secondary development and time to market.

Coolpad5G industrial routing modules will be widely used in a variety of industrial scenarios such as industrial CPE, drones, robotic arms, VR terminals, cameras, robots, etc.

The Coolpad 5G industrial routing module has the following features.

Built-in Wi-Fi6 chip, expand all kinds of required interfaces, (including SIM card slot, TF card slot, antenna interface, LAN/WAN, RS232/RS485, etc.), plug and play, no secondary development.

Support for 5G and Wi-Fi6, with 5G to Wi-Fi, Ethernet to 5G, or Wi-Fi6 signals.

Compatible with a variety of industrial communication protocols to meet the application terminal needs of a variety of industrial scenarios.

Provide IoT platform, support module upgrade, maintenance, alarm, and other functions.

Supports PCBA form, which facilitates the integration of various terminal devices, reduces development volume, and shortens time to market.
