OnePlus is now pushing the OxygenOS 10.5.6 update to the OnePlus 8 as well as the 8 Pro. This update does not bring any new features but does contain some improvements to the camera's functionality.
The update changelog is as follows:

Address known problems and improve system stability.

Improved dust detection, making it more accurate than ever.
Improved shooting experience with front camera.
Improve stability
This is the second time that OnePlus 8 series phones have received a camera improvement update and OxygenOS 10.5.6 is currently being pushed to OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro users in batches.
Those who did not receive the update will have to wait for a while, then simply go to Settings > System > System Update to update the device's OxygenOS.
