The OnePlus Z, previously rumored as the OnePlus 8 Lite, is expected to be an affordable smartphone with a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset and a perforated display that will be available in July, according to Twitter user @MaxJmb.
The OnePlus Z is expected to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a center-aligned punch to accommodate a selfie camera.
It is speculated to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 5G SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage.
The phone should be powered by Android 10, OxygenOS UI.
As for the main camera, the OnePlus Z is likely to come with a triple camera, including a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary lens and a 12-megapixel unit. It is expected to be powered by a 4,000mAh battery, support 30T Warp fast charging, and come with a built-in fingerprint sensor for security.
However, the details about the selfie camera remain a mystery for now. Connectivity features may include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C ports.
As for the price of the OnePlus Z, it's said to be around £400 (about Rs 37,500), but considering the relatively low price of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in the Indian market compared to other markets, the pricing of the OnePlus Z in the Indian market should also be aggressive.
