OnePlus' flagship new device, the OnePlus 8 series, has been officially released. But oddly enough the OnePlus 8 Lite, which was previously frequently talked about, wasn't released together, so one might wonder, does this machine really exist?
Today, this rumored OnePlus 8 Lite has been revealed by Slash Leaks.
As per the pictures, the phone features a centered cutout screen design with a narrow quad bezel for a comfortable front look, and in terms of naming, it won't be OnePlus 8 Lite, but will be renamed as OnePlus Z.
As for why it wasn't released with the OnePlus 8, the first reason is the novel coronavirus epidemic and the second is that OnePlus may deliberately delay its release in India until the third quarter of this year to meet updates on the latter half of the line.
For specific configurations, the OnePlus 8 Z will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with the same standard 90Hz refresh rate.
It has a rear triple camera with a different rectangular design from the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, a 48-megapixel main camera + 16-megapixel, and 12-megapixel triple camera combination design, and a 16-megapixel Sony IMX 471 selfie camera on the front.
As for the asking price, it was also previously shown on the page as being priced at $499.
