Charging the MacBook Pro from the left side may cause the computer to run too hot, affecting its performance, according to a recent Forbes report.
The report stated that the temperature is much higher when charging on the left side of the MacBook Pro than on the right side, and that charging on the left side of the MacBook Pro also causes the computer to start the kernel_task program, which is the main cause of the computer's heat and does not start when charging on the right side.
Currently, there are cases of this phenomenon on both 2015 and 2019 versions of the computer.
In fact, this isn't the first time Apple's MacBook line has been exposed to quality issues.
In April 2018 and August 2019, Apple announced a recall of multiple MacBook Pro products manufactured between September 2015 and October 2017 due to swollen and hot batteries.
In December 2019, Apple announced a free repair service for up to four years for MacBooks and MacBook Pro made from 2015 to 2017 due to a worn or peeling reflective coating on the screen.
Recently, a number of Apple MacBook users have reported that their computer screen has a black line, accompanied by flashing screens, heavy shadows and other problems.
Product quality problems can directly affect the consumer experience and even threaten the property and personal safety of consumers.
