Realme recently announced the kernel source code for the Realme X50 Pro 5G, Realme X2, and Realme X2 Pro models, based on Android 10.
Realme isn't as aggressive in complying with GPLv2 as OnePlus and Xiaomi, but it's also on top of the pack compared to other vendors.
Released last month, the Realme X50 Pro 5G features a Snapdragon 865 chip with a 64 million Hawkeye zoom quad camera and 32 million front-facing ultra-wide-angle dual cameras.
It also has a 90Hz AMOLED screen and 65W SuperDart Superflash, priced from €599.
Recently Realme opened up the kernel source code for the Realme X50 Pro 5G, based on Android 10, which is currently available at GitHub.
And the earlier-released Realme X2 and Realme X2 Pro are also open sources after updating the Android 10-based Realme UI.
Realme also provides an unlocking tool for these models to make it easier for users to play with the machine.
