Xiaomi is building a clamshell foldable phone similar to the Galaxy Z Flip, according to XDA Developers.
In fact, Xiaomi obtained related patents on foldable phone design as early as 2019.
Although Xiaomi showed a lot of details about the clamshell foldable phone in the patent, there are still some discrepancies between the patent and the actual product, so it is not yet confirmed in which aspects the real opportunity to adjust.
XDA reported that Xiaomi's foldable device will use a flexible OLED screen, which should be similar to or the same material as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
