A total of 77.72% of computers in China now use SSDs, Master Lu released today โ€™s hard drive market statistics report for the first quarter of 2020.

The report is based on data from January 1 to March 31, 2020, showing that SSD's erosion of the mechanical hard disk market has been irreversible.

The hard drive performance rankings are all SSDs, but the surprise is that traditional hard drive manufacturers Seagate, Western Digital's Barracuda 510 512GB, and SN730 512GB won the first and second runner-up.

In addition, Western Digital's NS720 1TB also ranked seventh, which also shows that although the transformation of these two is difficult and long, but it finally proved to be successful.

The third place is Samsung's PM981 1TB, and the fourth place is Intel SSD 750 1200GB, but this is a U.2 interface enterprise hard drive, Master Lu has more than 1,000 tests, and Intel 900P 280GB is also ranked eighth.

On the list of the most popular hard drives, Kingston SA400 240GB has accumulated a huge user base with excellent compatibility and cost performance.

In terms of brands, Western Digital, Samsung and Seagate continue to lead the first group, with shares of 16.57%, 12.21% and 9.32%, followed by Kingston, Intel, Toshiba, Tigo, Hitachi, GALAXY, Colorful, Taipower.
