Huawei on Thursday held the Huawei P40 series global online press conferences in Paris, releasing three flagship phones of Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+.
Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ use a 6.58-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2640x1200 and support a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Huawei P40 uses a 6.1-inch flat screen (2340 x 1080), supports IP53 dust and water resistance, and all three phones support fingerprint recognition under the screen.
Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro are available in black, blue, silver, gold, and white. The P40 Pro+ is available in ceramic white and ceramic black.
All three phones have a newly designed 50-megapixel main lens with a sensor size of 1/1.28 inches, which is currently the largest mobile phone lens sensor.
They use RYYB photosensitive pixel matrix and support 50 million dual pixel focusing technology, so this phone's main lens sensor actually has 100 million focusing pixels.
The Huawei P40 is equipped with three rear cameras, a 50-megapixel RYYB super-perceptive wide-angle camera, a 16-megapixel super-wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera (OIS) that supports 3x optical change.
The Huawei P40 Pro has four rear cameras, a 50-megapixel RYYB ultra-perceptive wide-angle camera (OIS), a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle movie camera, and a 12-megapixel RYYB telephoto camera (OIS) that supports 5x optical change. A ToF sensor.
The P40 Pro+ uses five rear cameras, a 50-megapixel RYYB ultra-perceptive wide-angle camera (OIS), a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle movie camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera that supports 10x optical change (20x hybrid zoom, Maximum 100x digital zoom, support OIS), 8-megapixel RYYB telephoto camera (OIS) with 3x optical change, and a ToF sensor.
The Huawei P40 series is based on the strong AI computing power of Kirin 5G, which can achieve functions such as eliminating reflections, passers-by, or capturing key moments.
In terms of video shooting, it supports 4K 60fps shooting, real-time background blur, 4K HDR +, high-speed photography up to 51200, 7680fps, a new generation of ultra-sensitive film camera 1/1.54-inch outsole and 16-in-1 pixel fusion technology.
They can shoot 4K super zoom time-lapse photography and can also use the telephoto lens to record video of the moon.
The P40 Pro+ also supports dual scene shooting, which can simultaneously call a 3 × telephoto lens and a 10 × zoom camera for simultaneous shooting.
In addition, the body is equipped with three directional microphones, which can achieve audio zoom function.
The new Huawei P40 series uses a dual-punch screen with dual front cameras, a 32-megapixel main camera and an infrared depth camera. It supports self-timer background blurring, AI space control, and face unlock.
The difference is that the P40 does not support autofocus, while the Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ support autofocus.
At the press conference, Huawei also brought a Profoto fill light that supports Huawei Camera Kit, which can be used in conjunction with Huawei mobile phones for fill light shooting.
Huawei P40 series is equipped with Kirin 990 5G Soc, integrated 5G baseband, supports 5G dual-mode full Netcom dual card dual standby, and Wi-Fi 6/Wi-Fi 6+ (2400Mbps, 160MHz @ 5GHz), 3D graphene thermal film to ensure heat dissipation performance.
Huawei P40 has a built-in 3800mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charge. Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ have a built-in 4200mAh battery to support 40W super-fast charge. P40 Pro+ also supports 40W wireless super-fast charge (P40 Pro wireless fast charge is 27W). Reverse wireless charging.
Huawei P40 series is equipped with EMUI 10.1 system, built-in Huawei's latest AI assistant Celia, and supports "Hey Celia" voice wake-up.
The Huawei P40 series will not be equipped with GMS services, but will be replaced by Huawei HMS.
In addition, Huawei's App Gallery will also be built into this series of smartphones. In addition to providing application resources, App Gallery can also provide fast and convenient application functions.
The Huawei P40 is priced at €799 (8 + 128GB) and the Huawei P40 Pro is priced at €999 (8 + 256GB). Both will be available on April 7.
The Huawei P40 Pro+ is priced at 1399 Euros (8 + 512GB) and will be available in June.
The China conference will be held on April 8. The three mobile phones will start pre-sale in China tomorrow at zero.
