For the three phones of the P40 series released today, there is no pressure on hardware, 5G, and camera configuration. The biggest trouble in the overseas market is Google GMS, which is still not available. However, this time Huawei equipped its own HMS service and App Gallery on the P40 series phones.
At the MWC conference at the end of February, Huawei officially launched HMS services and App Gallery stores overseas. At that time, the first product to be carried was the Honor phone, and the P40 series was the first Huawei phone to officially carry HMS services and the App Gallery store.
According to Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei consumer business, Huawei HMS has covered more than 170 countries worldwide, with 400 million monthly active users, attracting 1.3 million developers and partners worldwide.
In addition to the Huawei App Market, Huawei Cloud Space, Huawei Theme, Huawei Smart Assistant, Huawei Browser and other applications that have been launched globally, with the release of the P40 series, Huawei Video, Huawei Music, Huawei Content-based applications such as reading are also accelerating the pace of going global.
Among them, Huawei Video has been launched in 26 countries and regions around the world, and Huawei Music has been launched in more than 100 countries and regions. Huawei end users, including the P40 series, can already use these content-based HMS applications.
The Huawei P40 will also carry its own App Gallery, replacing the Google Play Store. Unlike the latter, in addition to regular APK applications, App Gallery also supports fast applications, which can be used without downloading and installing.
Now Huawei is still working with service providers and developers around the world to continuously expand the scope of HMS services and App Gallery stores.
As the world's top three application markets, Huawei's application market provides P40 series users with 18 categories of "globalization + localization" applications such as news reading, social communications, audio and video entertainment, shopping comparison, shooting landscaping, and practical tools.
These include flagship applications such as The Times, talkSPORT, and The Sun, which are introduced by the UK's leading news service provider News UK (Britain News Group), Qwant, a European local search engine application, and "Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall". Well-known mobile games.
The conference site also announced that "Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall" will be available on the Huawei App Market from April 3rd, and fans worldwide are welcome to download and experience wonderful story stories.
