Two days before their launch, German media winfuture released the detailed specifications of Huawei P40 and P40 Pro on Tuesday.
The report said that although the P40 and P40 Pro offer pure LTE versions in some regions, in Europe, Huawei only provides versions equipped with Kirin 990 5G Octacore SoC. The chip usually includes a 5G modem with prices starting at 799 euros and 999 euros respectively.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a 6.58-inch AMOLED curved screen. Huawei tried to achieve a near-borderless appearance on the aircraft. Its screen resolution is 2640x1200, pixel density is 441 PPI, and the screen also provides a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The P40 / Pro uses a pill-shaped screen punch to accommodate a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with F / 2.2 aperture and autofocus, as well as an additional camera that produces depth effects. The P40 Pro also has an infrared sensor that not only Responsible for depth effects, but also for IR laser-based face unlock.
The camera is the main highlight of Huawei's new machine. The Pro version comes with two RYYB sensors, one for photos and the other for video. The main sensor has a resolution of 50 million pixels, which Huawei calls an "UltraVision" camera. The sensor has an F / 1.9 aperture and supports optical image stabilization. A system called Octa Phase Detection (Octa PD) is also used to quickly focus.
In Europe, Huawei P40 Pro has 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of flash memory, and can be easily expanded using NanoMemory-2 memory cards. There are two SIM card slots that support NFC and Gigabit WiFi. Built-in 4200mAh battery, supports SuperCharge fast charging up to 40 watts, and also supports wireless charging. It is IP68 certified, waterproof and dustproof.
The Huawei P40 screen is a 6.1-inch OLED flat screen with a 2340x1080 resolution and a pill-shaped cutout for the 32-megapixel front-facing camera (F / 2.0). It also has a depth sensor and no 3D facial recognition. It has a 3800mAh battery, a maximum of 22.5 watts of fast charging, and does not support wireless charging.
Although the Huawei P40 is also equipped with a 50-megapixel RYYB filter F / 1.9 UltraVision sensor, it does not support optical image stabilization. In addition, there is a 16-megapixel F / 2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel sensor with telephoto and F / 2.4 that supports OIS.
