With the release of the Android 11 Developer Preview, we were able to learn more about the features and gameplay of the new Android system.

According to GSMArena, Google added a double-tap gesture to Android 11 to achieve more quick operations.

In the second version of the Android 11 Developer Preview, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 3 XL and other models have added double-click gestures.

Double-click the back of the Pixel body to take a screenshot or enter the multitasking interface. This feature relies on the device's accelerometer and gyroscope sensors to sense user double-click operations.

It is worth noting that it will not work in the state of the screen and the camera, so as to avoid unnecessary waste of power and misoperation.

Of course, this feature can be customized. Things like turning on the camera, turning off the timer, starting the Google Assistant, playing / pausing music, muting incoming calls, pausing the alarm, etc. can all be done by double-clicking on the back.

The official version of Android 11 is expected to debut around September.
