Huawei AppSearch let you bypass Google Play to find and install apps

Huawei AppSearch let you bypass Google Play to find and install apps-cnTechPost

Huawei has developed a new application that can download applications for its own Android smartphones without the Google Play Store.

This app is called AppSearch. Although Huawei developed the AppGallery app store, the apps in it do not fully meet the needs of users.

AppSearch enables Huawei to offer popular apps from U.S. companies such as WhatsApp and Instagram.

But this is done in an unusual way, because the installation of some apps is done through an external app store or directly from the website, not through the Huawei store.

Users can download various Google applications through AppSearch, such as Chrome browser and Youtube.

Huawei cannot provide the downloaded content directly to users. Therefore, AppSearch provides a link to a website that contains an APK file. You can open the link to download the application installation file.

Therefore, AppSearch essentially collects application installation files from various sources.

Although this method is not very standardized, it is one of Huawei's few solutions.

The use of AppSearch means that automatic application updates cannot be provided, and the security of the provided applications cannot be completely guaranteed (though the security is still very high).

Some of these apps are downloaded from other AppStores, such as Amazon App Store, APK, apkmonk App Store, users will be directed to the corresponding website to download the application directly from there, and some applications (such as Facebook and WhatsApp) It is provided directly through the official website.
