Smart speaker shipments reached 45.89 million units in 2019, a year-on-year increase of 109.7%, according to a IDC report.
Among them, the smart speaker market shipped 13.08 million units in the fourth quarter of 2019, a year-on-year increase of 22.5%.
The report indicates that the Chinese smart speaker market has experienced explosive development in the past year, and the Matthew effect has become increasingly apparent.
The market share of leading manufacturers Alibaba, Baidu and Xiaomi exceeds 90%. Among them, Alibaba's Tmall Genie smart speaker ranked first with 15.61 million units shipped throughout the year, up 87.9% year-on-year.
