Apple reopens all its retail stores in China-CnTechPost

Apple has reopened all 42 of its branded stores in China, more than a month after they were shut due to fears over the coronavirus outbreak.

Apple's China website has listed the opening time for all stores, which vary from 10:00 am to 11:00 am local time.

The website had previously carried an advisory saying not all stores were open.

Previously, by March 10, 38 of them have been opened, but some retail stores have limited opening hours.

Three retail stores in Tianjin and one in Suzhou have not yet opened.

China is an important market for Apple. Apple has warned that the company may not be able to meet its March fiscal quarter revenue forecast, although the $63 billion to $67billion guidance range is larger than usual.

In early February, affected by the epidemic, Apple had to temporarily close all retail stores in mainland China. Subsequently, until February 24, 29 of the 42 retail stores were resumed.

Apple said that "the global iPhone supply will be temporarily restricted" and "the demand for products in the Chinese market is also affected."

So far, it is unclear to what extent the supply of products will be affected. Foxconn, Apple's iPhone manufacturing partner in China, had to stop work during the outbreak.
