Chinese version of Switch is about to get two new games-CnTechPost

Nintendo Switch has got license approvals for two of its game titles: Mario Kart 8DX and Super Mario Odyssey, according to the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television's approval of imported online games.

Previously, "New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe Edition" was the only version of the Chinese version of the Switch game.

Nintendo and Tencent teamed up last year to launch the Nintendo Switch in China. The hybrid console launched there this past December.

Games industry analyst Daniel Ahmad revealed that game cartridges on the Tencent version of the Nintendo Switch would only work on the Chinese consoles.

You can't export those cartridges outside of China and expect them to work on non-Tencent systems.
