Shenzhen Transsion Holdings, known as the king of African smartphones, released the Infinix S5 Lite smartphone in November last year for INR 7,999 ($108). Now the Chinese phone maker is releasing a higher end version of the Infinix S5 series for only $135.
The new phone is named the Infinix S5 Pro, which is equipped with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display without notch. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and a pixel density of 394ppi.
The S5 Pro is equipped with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and has 4GB of RAM.
It runs XOS 6.0 based on Android 10 and has 64GB of built-in storage space.
It also has a dedicated microSD card slot, which can be further expanded to 256GB.
The Infinix S5 Pro has a 16MP front camera with a pop-up design, and a 48MP main camera, 2MP depth and low-light sensor on the back.

The Infinix S5 Pro is available in purple and forest green colors for INR 9999 (US $ 135) and will be available in India via Flipkart on March 13.
After years of development, Transsion is known as the King of Africa's smartphones. In 2018, Transsion's African market share was as high as 48.71%, and India's market share was 6.72%.
