Huawei offers Android phone computing powers on the cloud-CnTechPost

Huawei recently announced that Huawei Cloud has released Kunpeng phone on the cloud, which is based on Huawei Cloud Kunpeng bare metal server, with a virtual Android operating system.

According to Huawei, if you are doing live broadcast interactive and mobile office, you do nโ€™t need so many physical machines, then you can choose Kunpeng phone on the cloud.

According to information on the Huawei Cloud website, Huawei Cloud Kunpeng phone on the cloud is a cloud server with a virtual mobile phone function.

At the same time, as a new type of application, phone on the cloud has played a very good role in extending and expanding physical mobile phones and can be used in scenarios such as application intelligent hosting, cloud mobile games, crowdcasting and entertainment, and mobile office.

Huawei Cloud Kunpeng phone on the cloud is based on a self-developed Kunpeng chip, and the end-cloud is isomorphic. Compared with traditional simulator solutions, the performance of virtual mobile phones is improved by 80%.

Huawei claims that users can flexibly adjust the specifications of the phone on the cloud to respond to the rapid changes in performance of the app. Phone on the cloud is compatible with native instructions and can run mainstream games and applications, just like a real machine. Phone on the cloud business data and confidential information are stored in the cloud, providing enterprise-level security protection on the cloud.

Huawei Cloud recommends one of these configurations. Rx1.medium.2 can issue 60 phones on the cloud instances, as low as 99 months/each phone instance.

Its applicable scenarios include: application hosting | simulation testing | mobile office | cloud gaming, single phone on the cloud resolution 720x1280, single phone on the cloud standard specifications 2 cores | 3.5 GB memory | 10 GB storage, priced at 5950 yuan/server/month.
