Nokia uses China-made UNISOC processor for second time on its new device

HMD released an entry-level smartphone "C1" in Africa last year, equipped with a UNISOC processor for the first time. Now its successor C2 has passed Bluetooth certification and has been certified in Malaysia and Thailand.

Certification information shows that Nokia C2 will continue to be equipped with UNISOC platform, processor model SC9832E, support 4G LTE, according to Nokia Power User.

In December last year, HMD released an entry-level smartphone "C1" (TA-1165) in Kenya, Africa, equipped with a UNISOC processor, model SC7731E, for Africa, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

UNISOCSC7731E has four built-in A7 CPU cores, clocked at 1.3GHz, and integrated Mali-T820 MP1 GPU graphics core.

The network standard supports 3G WCDMA/HSPA/HSPA +, 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE, and has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM, GNSS positioning and navigation, and RF radio frequency, achieving the industry's highest integration and ultra-low power consumption.
