Xiaomi TV cut prices in China, 55-inch 4K version for only $250-CnTechPost

Xiaomi TV has launched a new round of price reduction promotions, from 08:00 on February 28 to 23:59 on March 2. The channels include Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, Xiaomi Home, Tmall, JD.com and Suning.

Among them, Xiaomi TV 4S 75-inch price is 4599 yuan ($657). This TV was released in November 2018, when it was priced at 7,999 yuan. In just over a year, the price has almost halved.

Xiaomi's full-screen TV 65-inch (E65A) has a price reduction of 400 yuan and a price of 2699 yuan. Xiaomi's full-screen TV 55-inch (E55C), with a price reduction of 250 yuan and a price of 1,749 yuan ($250). Xiaomi TV 4C 43-inch price is reduced by 250 yuan, the price is 1149 yuan.

In addition, Xiaomi's full-screen TV Pro (E55S) is 2,399 yuan, and Xiaomi Mural TV 65 inches is 6,999 yuan, which are currently on sale.

Xiaomi TV rushed to the top spot in the Chinese market in just a few years, catching up with a number of traditional TV factories, and the explosion of low-cost promotional strategies played a huge role.

Not long ago, AVC and Zhongyikang both confirmed that in the past 2019, Xiaomi TV shipments and sales ranked first in China in the year, and shipments reached 10.46 million units, becoming the first China TV brands with annual market shipments exceeding 10 million.

According to the data of Zhongyikang, in 2019, for every 5 TVs sold in the Chinese market, there will be 1 Xiaomi TV, and the annual sales market share is 19.25%.

Xiaomi TV has won the first sales volume in the five mainstream sizes of 32 inches, 43 inches, 50 inches, 65 inches, and 70 inches.
