Starting this week, Google has started to contact the ticket winners of the 2020 I/O conference and send them notice of payment of admission fees. The average audience is $1,150, and the academic staff is $375.
Under the influence of the new coronavirus, Google also gave a special note to allow all I/O registered participants to cancel at any time before April 15, 2020 without having to worry about financial losses.
Google said it will release a timetable and preliminary meeting list in the coming weeks and inform attendees. However, the final determination details will be subject to the official May 12th event.
Unlike Google ’s business as usual, the Facebook F8 Developers Conference, also held in May, has been cancelled.
According to the original plan, the F8 developer conference will be held on May 5th and 6th at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
Facebook said that after canceling the F8 offline event, it will interact with global developers through video and live content activities but has not yet explained the specifics of participating in the viewing.
