DxO commented in the evaluation that the 7T Pro, which is greatly upgraded for the OnePlus 7 Pro, is a powerful smartphone. Its image score ranks high in the evaluation, and the results presented are not disappointing.
The overall image quality is very good, with accurate exposure, pleasing colors, and great detail.
Although the 7T Pro is equipped with most of the hardware design of the previous models, OnePlus seems to have adjusted some algorithms, and there is a slight difference in the output image.
Most notably, the 7T Pro's high dynamic range processing is more powerful. Although the effects sometimes appear unnatural, the overall highlight retention is improved and the output image is more coordinated.
The imaging processing flow of still images and videos is biased towards warmer color rendering. If it functions, the results will be very good, but if it is not successful, it will show a yellow color cast.
The video performance slightly regressed, 2 points lower than the 7 Pro, but overall, it was quite good.
Although there is no reason to replace the 7 Pro with the 7T Pro due to the image quality of the camera, buyers who are already preparing to exchange old phones can definitely consider this OnePlus' latest flagship phone.
