After five Apple retail stores in Beijing resumed limited operations, two in Guangzhou, two in Dalian, one in Qingdao, three in Shanghai and two in Chengdu also resumed limited operations, information on the Apple website showed.
Opening hours are from 11 am to 6 pm or 12 pm to 6 pm.
Apple had previously reminded users that they must wear a mask and cooperate with receiving a temperature test before entering a retail store that has resumed operations.
Apple currently has 42 retail stores in mainland China, with 5 in Beijing, 7 in Shanghai, 5 in Jiangsu.
Yesterday, Apple issued an announcement saying that although the coronavirus epidemic has caused some impact on Apple and will cause Apple to return to a slower speed than expected, Apple is still struggling to resume normal operations.
The top priority is to ensure the health and safety of the communities where Apple employees, partners, customers, and suppliers are located, it said.
