Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday that it has launched a home delivery service for smart phones for users to experience and will reduce physical marketing activities in response to the impact of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic.
Samsung said it has decided to significantly reduce the number of "experience zones" in the store and cancel promotions such as the "Galaxy Fan Meeting" for the latest phones to reduce the chance of virus transmission.
According to information on Samsung's website, the company will set up 9 such experience zones only for the latest phone Galaxy S20 released last week, and last year's annual flagship phone Galaxy Note 10 experienced as many as 130 experience zones.
For those who want to try out the Galaxy S20, Samsung will use a fast delivery phone to come to your door for their experience for up to 24 hours before being picked up by a courier.
On February 11, Samsung officially released the new flagship Galaxy S20 series in San Francisco, including the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. The Samsung S20 series will be released online in China on February 27.
