Savior was a brand under Lenovo for gaming and video laptops. In December last year, Lenovo launched the official Weibo account of smartphones under the brand. Now, the firm is starting to teasing the specifications of the device that is about to come.
The Savior E-sports smartphone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 865 and it aims to be a " gaming flagship," the Savior E-sports Phone said in a Weibo post.
In April last year, Chang Cheng, then the vice president of Lenovo Group and general manager of the mobile phone business department, revealed that the Savior smartphone will be released early this year.
And Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo China’s mobile phone business department, said in an interview earlier that Savior gaming mobile phones rely on Savior ’s years of in-depth cultivation in the gaming field.
Based on its R&D, brand operation, fans group and other resources, Lenovo hopes to make Savior gaming phones the first in the industry, he said.
Many brands have entered the field of gaming phones before, including Razer, Black Shark, Nubia Red Devil.
