A book of guidelines on the prevention of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus has been published by the People's Medical Publishing House, according to Xinhua News Agency.
The book is in a Q&A format and focuses on disease prevention, medical observation at home, medical treatment and psychological counseling for individuals and families.
It is aimed at providing authoritative and professional knowledge for the public to better protect themselves and dispel panic.
The first batch of printed versions of the book has been sent to Wuhan, the center of the epidemic. Its electronic versions are available on several online platforms.
The book is compiled by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
