As the epidemic of the new coronavirus is getting worse, fake news related to it is spreading rapidly. To help curb the spread of misinformation, Facebook and Google have taken steps on their own services.
Google on Friday launched an SOS Alert for searches related to the novel coronavirus, an information integration page that Google sets up whenever disasters occur around the world.

In addition to collating news and tweets from reliable sources, it also includes coronavirus outbreak analysis and Q & A from the WHO, plus some common health advice.
Facebook said in a statement recently that it cooperates with third-party fact-finding partners to review information related to the new coronavirus on the platform.
When a message is judged to be false information, in addition to restricting the spread of the message on Facebook and Instagram, Facebook will also provide the correct information after checking.
At the same time, users who have shared or are about to share false information will also receive notifications reminding them to think twice before sharing.
In addition to third-party fact-checking partners, content that has been reported by the Global Health Organization or public health agencies as false (such as drinking bleach to help fight the new coronavirus) is also restricted.
Both Facebook and Instagram block related content and tags, and remove related content whenever possible.
