The website showed the POCO X2 will have a high refresh rate display, liquid cooling, and a Sony IMX 686 primary sensor.
The device will feature a 120Hz high refresh rate display, which is evident from the following image.
The charging render on the website shows another headphone jack at the bottom, which confirms that the first render might actually just be an attempt to keep the POCO X2โs design under the wraps.
On January 16, cnTechPost mentioned that Xiaomi POCO X2 appeared on GeekBench website with a single-core score of 547 points and multi-core score of 1767 points.
GeekBench information shows that Xiaomi POCO X2 is equipped with Qualcomm 8-core processor (basic frequency 1.80GHz), uses Android 10 operating system, and is equipped with 8GB RAM.
This is the first time we have seen news about Xiaomi POCO X2. However, some media reported that this phone is suspected of an overseas version of the Redmi K30.
On January 17, Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Global Vice President and Xiaomi India's Chief Business Officer, announced that the POCO brand operates independently.
Manu Kumar Jain said that POCO started as a sub-brand within Xiaomi, now it has grown into its own identity.
POCO F1 was an incredibly popular phone. We feel the time is right to let POCO operate on its own, he said.
