Although only two manufacturers, Samsung and LG, are offering smartphones equipped with styluses, this situation may soon change with the addition of Motorola.
As a niche market, the stylus can improve the utility of the device in many scenarios, and it is welcomed by some consumers. If you are already suffering from Samsung Galaxy Note and LG Stryo series aesthetics, then Motorola of Lenovo may soon bring more options.
Motorola is developing a new smartphone with a stylus function, according to XDA. Although we don't know much about the details, the leaked renderings show that it will use a punched screen for front camera, with a very narrow side and a slightly thicker chin.
As shown in the picture, the device has the power and volume keys on the same side. If you look closely at the bottom right corner, you will see that it has a slot for the stylus. The device may be positioned mid-range, but the price is unknown.
As for the launch date of the new Moto stylus, more details may be available at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2020) in Barcelona in February.
