Huawei releases HMS Core 4.0 to the world-CnTechPost

Huawei released HMS Core 4.0 to the world on Thursday, saying that the launch of HMS Core 4.0 will help global developers to develop efficiently, grow rapidly, and succeed in business.

As it was banned from using GMS (Google Mobile Services), Huawei created its own HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) and has launched a fund to encourage ecological developers, covering maps, music, video, email and other fields.

According to Huawei, in addition to services including Huawei account, payment, analytics, cloud space and advertising, many new capabilities that developers were waiting have been added in the HMS Core 4.0, including machine learning, unified code scanning and short-range communication services.

Based on the above capabilities, HMS Core can fully provide a full range of services for different mobile application developers around the world, Huawei said.

HMS includes a set of open HMS Apps and HMS Core, HMS Capabilities, HMS Connect, and corresponding development and testing IDE tools.

HMS Apps includes core applications consisting of Huawei Cloud Space, Huawei Smart Assistant, Huawei App Market, Huawei Wallet, Huawei Skyrim, Huawei Video, Huawei Music, Huawei Reading, Huawei Themes and Living Services.

HMS Core provides open cloud-side core service capabilities, such as account, payment, push, and map.

HMS Capabilities integrates the excellent software and hardware capabilities of Huawei 1 + 8 + N and is open to the outside world, such as HUAWEI HiAI, AR engine, camera and other capabilities.

In order to meet user needs and enable innovation, Huawei will make better use of the core-end-cloud collaboration strategy and incorporate end-to-end HMS Capabilities at a suitable pace to incorporate HMS Core service capabilities to achieve end-to-cloud open.

At present, Huawei has more than 1.3 million registered developers worldwide, and the number of applications accessing HMS Core worldwide exceeds 55,000.
