Goke Microelectronics, a China-based provider of SSD controllers and storage solutions, said its solid-state drive products equipped with 3D NAND flash memory from Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) have completed batch testing.
YMTC is a subsidiary owned by Tsinghua Unigroup. It said on January 15 that after three years of construction, its 64-layer three-dimensional flash memory product developed independently has achieved mass production.
Goke said on Thursday that since YMTC announced the development of 3D NAND flash memory, it has carried out in-depth cooperation with it.
At present, Goke's 3D NAND flash solid-state hard drive products have completed batch testing, and more stringent reliability tests are in progress.
At the same time, this SSD product has been sent to a number of customers, and early use plans have begun.
Goke also said that from the test results, YMTC's 3D NAND flash memory performed satisfactorily in sequential read and write, random read and write, and programming delays. The performance of Guoke SSDs equipped with 3D NAND flash memory of YMTC reached international Leading level.
