The Huawei Mate 30 Pro smartphone scored 60 points in DxOMark's audio review, ranking 10th on the list, results released by DxOMark on Friday showed.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is equipped with speakers on the bottom of the phone and a "sound display" to enhance this single speaker, but it is not used for media playback. It also has a dedicated active muffler microphone.
The overall score of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro audio is 60 points, with 57 points for playback, and 72 points for recording.
In terms of audio playback, the advantage of Huawei Mate 30 Pro mobile phone is that for mono mobile phones, its overall playback effect is good.
The disadvantages are that the maximum and minimum volume are too small, the mono speaker results in poor sound field and balance, and the audio quality needs to be improved in terms of maximum volume.
In terms of recording, DxOMark says it has excellent frequency response and overall recording volume. The advantage is that the tone, recording loudness, sound field, and velocity are all good. The disadvantage is that excessive high frequencies may affect the tone balance, mute the voice resonance, and some sound loss.
Equipped with a powerful Kirin 990 SoC, a 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display, and a quad-camera setup, Huawei's Mate 30 Pro sits at the top of the company's product line.
The phone ships with a generous 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, along with room for a nano-SD card.
