The Motorola Razr, a clamshell foldable phone, will be released in the Chinese market at the end of the second quarter of this year, Liu Jun, executive vice president of Lenovo Group and president of China, said in during CES 2020.
Motorola Razr was released by Lenovo in the US market in November 2019.
Yesterday, Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, confirmed that the product's sale in the US market has been postponed due to market demand and supply issues.
Liu Jun said that Motorola Razr may be released in the Chinese market at the end of the next quarter. One is to launch 5G functions in China; the reliability of folding is to reach 100,000 times.
For the current folding screen products on the market, Liu Jun believes that compared to the left and right folds of Huawei and Samsung, the design of the Motorola Razr's up and down fold is more in line with users' habits and needs.
